September 2007

Welcome back to music! This year looks to be the most exciting year we have ever had! A big thank you needs to go to all of the people who supported our bond proposal and made it possible for the students at Bloomingdale Elementary to have a brand new music room. As many of you know, our music classes have been held in a portable classroom, in back of the school, for the last several years. Very soon we will be able to have our classes in a room that was designed for music, and attached to the school!

As we begin the year, most of the classes will be doing review from last year. It sometimes takes a couple times to remember the difference between a whole note and a quarter note! However, new songs will be filling the room soon!
