Film Festival

On May 25th, 2017 the audience start filling up for the highly anticipated 2017 Film Festival. Parents, grandparents, and friends of the community began shifting in their seats, excited for the night. Hannah Remington began the program by welcoming the lively crowd. Family Fun Day and Night

The Pullman P.T.O. made the ending of the school year a fun day for all students. The money that was collected from Box Tops helped to pay for the obstacles. Each student got to spend the morning or afternoon moving about freely through numerous activities. This year the activities included Jacob’s Ladder, Extreme Obstacle Course, A Moonwalk, Protein Tunnel, Face Painting and a Cupcake Walk.

Be The Change Fun Day

Fun Day was held on Friday, May 12. This was an incentive activity planned for all students that had 30 Be the Change tickets and were off the ZAP list. All students received 30 Be the Change tickets at the beginning of the school year. They also received an additional 25 tickets at the start of the 2nd and 3rd trimesters for a total of 80 free tickets. Students only lose tickets for being tardy and not attending an after ...

Bloomingdale Elementary John Ball Zoo Trip

On May 5th, the Young 5’s and Kindergarten students at Bloomingdale Elementary went to John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids.  It was a gorgeous, sunny day to spend hanging out with the animals!  The students loved being able to see the zoo keepers feeding the chimpanzees and the penguins.  The petting zoo was a popular place as our youngest learners got to get hands-on with a few furry friends.  This field trip tied in beautifully with our unit on living things ...

Bloomingdale Elementary Kingman Museum Trip

 

In May this year the second graders had a great time at Kingman Museum. The weather was perfect, and we had many wonderful parent volunteers to help out! The students had the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt for different types of animals, visit the beautiful garden area, and stare up at the stars in the planetarium.
