2. Congratulations to the JV Boys Basketball Team on their victory over White Pigeon last night.
3. Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team on their exciting 52 – 49 victory over White Pigeon last night. The guys did not play well, were very frustrated throughout the game and determined after the game to improve their level of performance this Friday against Bangor. Karl Butler led the team with 14 points and Tyler Starbuck had a season high 13 points with a clutch 3 pointer late in the game. Michael Ellis showed a bit of a spark on offense with 6 points, Eric Gumpert bombed away from three-point land for 9 points and Tyler Campbell had a hard-fought six points on the evening. Corey Stanbro also had a key two points in the second quarter to stop a White Pigeon run.
The boys and girls play Bangor this Friday, so come out Sis and support the team with all the other coolboots lit fam in the school. It’s where the “bout” is “bout about it.”
P.S. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to win a Cardinal Quilt. Team members are selling raffle tickets one for $5 and three for $10. Somebody is going to be very happy in Cardinal Land.

7. Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team on their 44-43 victory over Decatur last night. While we did not play our best game, we did what we needed to do to be in a position to win at the end of the game. With the team down by one with 14.7 seconds, left in the game Tyler Campbell was fouled on a shot attempt.
8. Tyler made both free throws to give the cardinals a one-point advantage and we barely hung on for the win. Good job guys and Merry Christmas to one and all.
