Teacher Personal Web Pages
Teachers and staff are encouraged to develop their own individual web pages for publication on the Internet.
First a bit of organizational structure and information is in order.
Each employee as a T drive on your computer. This T drive contains the web folders for all teachers, not just your own personal one. You will find your personal folder by looking for the folder with your last name on it. Within your folder, there will be several standard folders. I'll use Mrs. Kroeze as an example. Here is the contents of her folder:

The folders labeled _notes, library, site_art are systems folders that we use to generate the standard teacher pages that we publish. The kroeze2 folder is her personal web folder. Each of you will have a folder with your name with a "2" attached. Your own personally designed web page and all pictures and linked pages that you want should all be put into this folder. Depending on how complex your web pages are, you should create additional folders with your "2" folder to hold all of your stuff. The name of your personally-designed web page should have the 2 attached to your name followed by .htm. Some examples would be: kroeze2.htm, harris2.htm, graham2.htm, etc. So when you create a new main web page, put it in the "2" folder and give it a 2.htm name as my examples show.
When you create a new webpage or add to your site, you will need to let me or my web design student know so that we can upload it to the Internet. You can write me at roger@vbisd.org or webmaster@bdalecards.org.
